Coaching Over Teaching...
Hi, my name is Jack.
I'm a Bass Coach in London, England.
I help Adult beginners and returners to the Deep End pick up the Bass and get playing that sucker...
I am a Bass Player, I'm not a guitarist or keyboard player who dabbles in Bass. I'm not teaching bass as an add-on to my main gig.
I am a Bass Coach: Bass is my first and only instrument.
Lean & Mean
I’ll coach you step by step to become the kind of Bassist people want to play with: rock solid, reliable, and confident enough on the instrument to hold it all down but able to contribute.
Whether your goal is to jam with buddies, get on stage or just jam at home to your favourite tracks and artists, I’ll help you get there.
Together we'll cover all the fundamental things you need with none of the fluff....

learn by playing
I'll help you think and feel like a Bass Player. We'll work on the essentials, get you comfortable on the instrument using real songs, and ready to play.
I believe Music is most effectively learned by playing it.
Whether you're coming at the Bass for the first time or getting back in touch with an old friend, I'll make sure that you're playing it in a way that's right for you and healthy in the long term.

No pressure...
We'll keep it simple: I'll show you shortcuts to learning and give you the tools and resources you need to study at your own pace.
There won't be any stressful tests or pop-quizzes to give you sleepless nights over.

If you're ready to rumble (literally!)
It's important to me that all my clients feel supported and that their goals and learning styles are understood and respected. A conversation is a great place to start our journey.
